Uganda Village Updates

Internationally, we started our Uganda village transformation project in 2014, and we have, to date, built a primary school and medical/dental clinic. Since our last newsletter, we have made steady progress, and we are sharing some new photos here. We now have:

4 teachers’ apartment buildings, 3 of which were constructed in 2016

Installed solar panels on our property that supply electricity to every building

The arrival of electric power in this village is nothing short of miracle from the villagers’ point of view. Electric power will also allow us to operate certain medical and dental equipment in the clinic for the first time. This project was made possible by Bitsori Women’s Choir in Los Angeles through a benefit concert held in March. We are also in the process of purchasing some new dental equipment that will be left at the clinic permanently.
